two projects in progress:
Wrap
Building alteration, thermal rehabilitation and roof extension: low-cost/low-energy consumption house on the outskirts of Vienna (A)
The application of pre-fabricated, recyclable materials – actually used for industrial constructions – in conjunction with sophisticated architectural design transforms the single-family house from the 1970s into an example of sustainability.
current phase: design process
together with: Adolf Merl, construction engineer and expert in sustainability
Chalet
single-family house in the Tyrolean Alps (A)
The barrier-free accessible low-energy consumption house is designed to fit smoothly into the mountainous environment due to the use of local materials and its geometry. Flexible layouts adapt to the living conditions: the two-storey building can be adapted easily from a single- to a two-family house.
current phase: design process
start of construction works: autumn 2014
