CD-Cover for Shih’s “Wanderschaft”
CD-cover-design for Shih‘s latest piece “Wanderschaft” (wanderings).
The abstract horizontal stripes, depicting a river, are dividing the picture and illustrating the tension and the movements in Shih’s music. The cover is part of a series using the same theme in different variations.
The recording of the premiere, performed by Ensemble die reihe and Anu Komsi, took place at the Viennese Radiokulturhaus in November 2010.
